It seems that I can't load specific pages anymore, or I have to keep trying just to load the page. I don't know if it my computer or what, but since the site has been changed I have been having lots of trouble loading pages.
Chess.com Site Speed - Notice Anything?

the problems seem to be mostly in the US. I said MOSTLY!
i can tell it is faster but the negative thing i have noticed is that during the game i am not able to hear the sound of the movements as i used to do is that that part of the new improvement??
it does seem a little faster!

didnt notice anything, but i didnt have any problems with it either though.
i had the messsage from firefox saying that this site carried a virus or something

I reckon there's not changes at all except for some 20 minutes to shut down the entire site or the reminder to have a membership fee everytime you open your log on. A good site I believe supposed to be free to everybody and gives the best service not to remind you to be diamond member everytime lol.

cool. so you go to work every day for free? you go to the grocery store and take food without paying? you get tons of features for free already - not sure why you are complaining.
For 2 weeks it works out fine.
But since last week, every time I started up with "secure.chess.com" I got the usual start-up page. But after login in I immediately got the message : security certificate makes that I cannot through : please close website" !?
Who else got this experience ?
will their be chess960 in live chess????

This is the best chess online free site of the web. The way that I meet www.chess.com was very intuitive and simple: just typed at iceweasel (linux) navigator "chess" and directly meet this superb site.
Now, the "akmai" solution made a great improvement in site speed performance.

I noticed that the pieces in the game viewer move much more smoothly now when I review a current or an old game. Same with the game explorer.
I used to have to refresh my screen 2 or 3 times to get the pieces to show on my board, have not had to refresh once since whatever happened happened, it is way better for me. Thanks
