Muted, not banned. His account still exists, but all of his forum activity has disappeared.

Read the red wording first...

The Professor. Only posts in threads when he can write an entire paragraph. His posts are often so long, not even the Resident wants to read it.

I start out as this guy, ^^^^^ until someone acts like an @$$ or is using an off kiltered argument against my posts that he didn't even read, I turn into this guy.... vvvvv

The Politicion. He debates just for sport. He loves tackling trolls even when you think it should be obvious the troll isn't worth it. Generally, his English is bad.

PS, even though my English is excellent, no one understands if they read...

HAHA!!! That'll do it. People, if you didn't read it, post TLDR then try to defend XD

Resident. Duh. We love you harry, everyone knows you.

Yeah, I think me and most other regular forum posters are residents

Um, yep. By definition! Laughing

It is too bad people can't be tagged so that you can drag them into your conversations...

I just thought of an idea:

So obviously, some people can fit into more than one of these categories. And some combinations occur much more often than others. Maybe you could make up some names for the combinations that occur most frequently?

nameno1had

I guess I have been a resident since I have been laid off...

this changes everything...

now I have multiple personality disorder...

I like it! But I gotta go, I'll return and add it. Wish I was a resident XD

So you're saying that Addicted-to-chess shouldn't be wishing that he was a resident?

RonaldJosephCote

You mean he, "Taped-Out" like Sarah McMann.

I think that is a matter of perspective...

Irontiger

Methinks you forgot an important category (often crossed with the Politicon / the Hater) :

  • Shiva. Will create multiple sockpuppets to support his opinions in every thread he gets in, and each of his accounts will talk to the others and friend them.

I suppose I'm some mix of Sarc-man, Politicon, and Resident. Also the Captain in some vote chess games (though not a good one, to be honest).

Idrinkyourhealth

Ahhh.. would add so many more stereothypes you didn't put... The SPAMMER, the "gracious", the 5-cents", the thread-Destroyer, the topic-addict, 'the-pervert'(only young girls as friends), the-know-it-all, the regulator, the under-900, the first-page-dailypuzzle maniac, the complainer, the veteran, the premium, the blocker, the mod, the uncaught cheater, the troll propaghandist, the loser, the professional, the stuff worshiper, the trolling enthusiast.

Idrinkyourhealth

#41 = the know-it-all ;)

samtoyousir

Holy cow IDYH, lot's of ideas, I might add a few! I definitly like the SPAMMER, the Know-it-all and the Complainer! I thought of a new one! The Lag guy!

This Irontiger sure seems paranoid about people having multiple accounts.  Another stereotype is people that talk about cheating most of the time, and seem to link every topic to cheating in some way.  (Polar Bear)

I like the cheater one! Thanks! I hate it when someone sees a cheater around every corner...

samtoyousir

Lotsa new stuff added! Keep it coming!

AlCzervik

The Joker. Two would be AndyClifton and mother in law.

I just added the Sarcasm guy, that should cover it.
