How's your TROLL thread going?
It lives on, like most doltish threads, part and parcel of chess.com forums
It doesnt matter how hilarious you think it is. I could agree with you that it is hilarious, but the point is that this is a website to play chess and talk about it, not to fill the forums with this.
Are you aware of the box for "tracking comments" that you can untick? If not, send me 20 bitcoin and I'll show you.
Great advice, marcomarco! And timely, too, considering i was just about to begin a second career as a philanthropist! Now i know how to do this right...

Mmm, that sounds suspicious to me. But I just talked to you in the internet, you must be a real honest person, tell me where to send the bitcoins and I'll just do it...
atm, I'm living in a van down by the river. I'll have to give you a p.o. box.
@AlCzervik
whatever, just tell me how to give you the money. I trust you with my life.
Now you're getting it.
Everyone trusts Al.

I don't use my real name but I use my real photo.

Over the past few months I have been having an on going conversations with several people from southeast Asia. There attention was kind and fun at first, I welcomed the friendly banter and looked forward to seeing their messages in my inbox. Over a period of weeks and hundreds of messages we got to know each other quite well. As a fairly well off individual myself when one began to discuss some personal family problems I happily agreed to help them a little financially. I guess they saw me for the sucker I was and over a few months I wound up sending over 20 bitcoins to in total to three different individuals. Only now I realize when I was left standing at Boryspil airport waiting for one of my friends to come visit on a plane ticket that I had paid for that I have been scammed! I meet these “ladies” on chess.com and I think we need a policy here that forces people to be under their true legal name. This would prevent the sort of fake people I have been dealing with from existing and keep the out of control children in line and perhaps we could report them to their parents. We need a “VERIFIED” tag next to user names like Twitter so we know who we can trust and their true ages and locations. Anonymity of the internet is horrible. Send no one bitcoins! Keep the children here responsible.
...and I think you need to start trying to meet ladies in person, not paying for their attention on a chess website. Seriously, that's not just sad, it's downright stupid. You got what was coming to you for being that desperate, pure and simple. Maybe you needed to lose some cash to realize that your money would be better spent just going to a bar...
