Chessmen do not load sometimes

Hi! Don't know if this is the correct place to ask but sometimes I've noticed the board loads but chessmen do not. Is it due to a connection problem, server issue or something on my system? Thanks.

What browser are you using?  If you use a different browser does this help?  Try clearing your cookies and removing your temporary internet files :)

I am using the latest version of Google Chrome ver 34.0.1847.116m on Windows 7 SP 1. Have checked on IE 11 and FF. I cleared caches of all browsers manually as well. Today, past four hours, I haven't been able to play because pieces wouldn't load. I can see the board and the yellow squares of moves but no pieces. Only the standard image icon seen when an image fails to load. Connection is shown to be green and full. All other websites are opening in browsers and images too.

In addition, I Inspected the element using Chrome and the chessmen images appear to be stored at Cloudfront and hyperlinked from there. Cloudfront is opening in all my browsers.

Also, the avatars are also not loading. Thought I'd mention this in case the two are related issues. Thanks again.

I am also facing the same issue, since last few days.

Still not corrected. Haven't found solutions from web. Haven't been able to play or watch any games. Maybe this is an OS update bug. Even uninstalling and re-installing Chrome and FF with clearing cache did not work. All original software with Norton as protection. Chessless for two days.

I am also experiencing the same problems.  Can staff/moderator be kind enough to respond at least ?

Other websites with gifs and jpegs are opening without any problem. So this may not purely be an OS update problem. I haven't taken on any new program on board prior to the commencement of this problem.

Any solution/suggestion on the matter/enlightnment will be appreciated. Thank you.

Am uploading a screenshot which depicts the problem. PGN format on other websites are loading. Given that I have taken a liking for this website since joining and was considering an upgrade to one of the plans proposed to me by Chess.com, unfortunate for me I'll have to postpone the decision till this problem resolves or leave here if it doesn't at all. Can't see the uploaded image either!

Update: Checked from different computers, OSs (various Windows editions and Linux), and service providers in the city - same story. Also checked from laptop (windows 8) - same issue. Norton on all systems. Java up to date. Adobe Flash up to date. All browsers up to date.

Does anyone here have an idea what's going on? Chessboard, chessmen and avatars do not load in the tract of this city I checked from.

NEW PROBLEM: Drag and Drop isn't working - After dragging chessmen to position and dropping them on a square, they immediately spring back to their respective original squares. The game, obviously, cannot progress with such reticence on part of chessmen to change positions.

If this bug is also cured, we could be back on board this wonderful website.

1. On the Java module of "Computer Workout", Drag and Drop is working fine.
2. Played one "Live Game" - Drag and Drop was inaccurate, needed to be repetitive and consumed time. 
3. In the "Tactics Trainer" section, Drag and Drop is not working at all.

So I guess the queen loads fine?

I wish to participate here wholsomely and probably end up playing slightly better chess than now. Everything was fine till a week ago when the bugs took over. My intention is to provide feedback on the bugs so that they can be rectified or solutions suggested. Pieces in addition to the queen are loading fine now. 

Drag and Drop isn't working cleanly as before. I mentioned the problems in my previous post.

Resigned a game because bishop simply wouldn't sit on square I wanted him to. Check my last game. Spent almost a minute trying to settle bishop before resigning because there isn't an option to cancel the game. Drag and Drop isn't working. Please correct this bug. Thank you.
