How did you get free membership? Giveaway? If yes then whose?

You said that you couldn’t continue playing and that you were going to resign so I said ok and made a move assuming you would immediately resign and out of no where you can continue playing because this move would put you a piece up. An honorable player or friend would resign or at least call it a draw. Instead you say maybe I should resign as if you played a great game. You lost my respect.

i am sorry, but you are not one of the most popular people on chess.com, posting a lot doesnt do that.  Being good (like magnus) does

you also lie, you said you had an ipad and then later begged someone to give you free membership to chess.com because you cant afford it.  You are not popular and frankly come off as annoying to me

It's hard to be famous.

You can block all and any invites in the relative settings. Just go to said settings, and for club related stuff, tap on the 'clubs' tab, for friends related stuff, tap on the 'friends' tab etc.

There's even an interesting option called 'safe mode', which will quarantine all social activity and keep you safe. Whenever you feel that you've had too much, please don't hesitate to use this feature.

I am sure you didn't intent it, but your OP did come across as a bit, well, arrogant.

I am sorry to hear about this most troublesome problem. If you'd rather not be popular the last thing you want to do is start a thread about being popular. jus sayin

You realize you get points for other people arguing on YOUR threads LMAO. You could make a total of 5 posts and have 10,000 points after a couple months.

It's not particularly difficult to post tons of nonsense in the forums, with clickbaity titles to get views and comments, as well as spam peoples walls, leave notes on ur own, to get points and views on ur profile. U just need to have a lot of spare time on ur hands.

it's not an extraordinary feat. New accounts have been doing this for several years now. Besides if you're fed up with the "popularity" doesn't this thread defeat the purpose? Ur just making another clickbaity post to get more popular.

Right!

It'll never cease while chess.com doesn't have some sort of regulation for new accounts being able to post. But anyway.

That's something I've been campaigning about for a couple years now but to little avail.

I'm sure they have their reasons and probably valid ones  But it would help both from your perspective in limiting junk and from my perspective by making it harder for duplicate or banned accounts.

Can’t speak for anyone else but personally I thought you were a decent guy before we played but now I know you’re a scumbag and anyone I know that knows you will now know you’re a scumbag.

How can you say that? I was told to stop by my mom and then she changed her mind so I continued playing, lah! Anyway, thanks so much for the game. As I said, I really appreciated it. Hope we can continue to play? (Tentative). I’m very sorry if I offended you. Can we remain friends?

wow boy! blm yo mom?

I think they feel that new members need access to the forums and that having a waiting period can be easily circumvented with a little planning.

Personally, I'm all for a waiting period since it would make my job just a little bit easier.

I block all popular people. I hate the competition.

I've never heard of you before but I'm happy that you're lucky enough to be popuplar

Well... Congratulations?

Just explore the settings. It's about as fun as cleaning your room. Very fun. No sarcasm intended.

I'm good friends with a certain group of forumers, not famous, but am pretty well known...
