tubebender, lol maybe he's is dead.

That's more comfortable than the possibility that he could have sold me groceries this morning... *shivers*

Nah, i think he was a computer programmer or something like that. So he could be the guy monitoring your online activities.

Oh okay much better. Thanks for the comforting words.

But just think, maybe to bumped into him today? How weird would that be?

You're welcome.

Bump into him in person? Wouldn't be any different than bumping into any other person online, then seeing in person. As far as bumping into him here, i've said before, i don't think he's gone from this site.

I doubt that's the case, but Erik sure did give him a lot of attention for a forum troll.

I know what you're saying, but also Erki used to be somewhat active in the forum actually.

I meant in person. Wouldn't be any different? This guy is a legend! A potentially insane one too! It'd be weird...

@waffle, erik was more active then. But cheater_1's profile is still viewable today? why? Because they took control and left it up! This way all the threads and posts are saved! Proving that they did it all for publicity! Ti-da!

For the record, I believe him.

Avatar of MrDamonSmith

Well alrighty then. That's that. All cleared up now.

Avatar of samtoyousir

Yep... Still a chance he could be faking it. The whole "why now?" question bugs me.

Avatar of batgirl

I always thought his whole schtick was as predicable as it was juvenile.

Well that makes me feel better. All I did was swear up a storm for an hour, but I have an excuse. I'm a veteran, I was off my medication, I love animals, my parents died, I lost my job, my house burned down, PLEASEEeee!!!

Hello, this is the REAL cheater_1 here.

I did die after the loss of my vote chess game. I went underground and haunted many other sites. Just recently, I got the urge to come back here.

Gone ARE the random CAPS. I know it WAS a trademark, but I matured a lot in THE time I was gone.

But one thing remains, I am STILL smarter than you all. I still possess a degree of enlightenment that not many here have.

I haven't cheated at a chess game in over 3 years. I got burnt out. I mean, I have wasted years of my life sitting in front of the comp, crushing opponent after opponent. I spent $$$ on the latest programs and the most RAM just so I could go toe to toe with the best. And yes, I did beat the best. I have several wins against certified GMS.

And yes, I did cheat at USCF events with the wireless earpiece and mini camera and a friend outside in a van running Fritz. Not too proud of it, but I did it.

When ERIK was nice enough to grant me the vote chess game and I claimed that I was using a program of my own creating (CANNIBAL 37) I think I called it, it was an out and out LIE. True, I have authored a chess program with a few buddies of mine, but it was no where near the strength it needed to be.

When I played chess.com, I used Rebel Tiger, Chessmaster, and Fritz and picked the most popular move. The move that caused me to lose the game came from Rebel Tiger and CM. Shouldda stuck with Fritz all the way.

Anyways, I'm back, for the time being. I had so many cheater_1 profiles and webpages and blogs that got banned and deleted by administrators (I even had a legal scare for a bit) that I got frustrated with all my hard work just getting wiped out by some punk ass mod on a power trip, that I put cheater_1 to a rest.

ERIK and I had a real nasty break up, I"m sure this account would go POOF if he found out. Nonetheless, it would be interesting to reactivate the old account. I could instantly prove I'm the real cheater_1 if we were to have a private talk.

Anyway, that's the scoop.

Then why did you reveal your identity on the public forums?

That aside though, I have to say, even if this guy isn't really cheater_1, he's a pretty good troll in his own right.

After several games on Chess.com. Winning some; and losing some. I don't mind losing in fair play. However, I am convinced now, more than ever, that Chess.com gives the slight edge to the international players. Every single time, if I am overwhelmingly bearing a foreign opponent, my moved begin to fail and not registering, while my allotted time continues to tick away. I am convinced that this is not a technical issue, but by design. Please comment or give feedback on this issue, if you are an American player, and have experienced too many conveniently placed roadblocks when it comes down to this. It's suppose to be free, fair chess. Form what I see, they seem to be getting a little help from Chess.com. This I can prove

No, no no you're waaaay off. That's not the case at all. Come on. Plus this is the wrong area to post something like that anyway.

Avatar of dealmaker500

What's wrong, is the crap this site intentionally pulls. This is suppose to be Free, Fair online competition, without extra help

Avatar of batgirl

What are you going on about?

Avatar of RonaldJosephCote

He thinks chess.com has an agenda to help international members. How he came to that conclution, I have NO idea.  check post 79 Batgirl.

Avatar of RonaldJosephCote

Well by all means. Don't leave us hanging. Prove it for us, please.

Avatar of batgirl

There's no conspiracy.  Try a different browser.  I tested 6 different ones and got amazingly different responses from each one.

Last Friday, we had someone start a thread about chess.com being in kahutz with the NSA by spying on our messages. You can't post here without wearing a tinfoil hat so chess.com can't read your thoughts. We had fun with that thread.
