Who said humans did?

JohnHS

Regardless, I came here to watch good trolls in action, and have been disappointed. Farewell everyone.

There are many species that have social behavior. That's not our distinct characteristic. What distinguishes us is our extreme (by comparison only) intelligence.

I said human emotion is somewhat distinct, in my opinion. Animals are much less likely to exhibit any sort of altruism for things that aren't direct members of their tribe/their children.

Humans, out of a desire to impose order and find purpose, want to pretend things like good and evil are absolute ideals. So for example dying for a family member is good, therefore dying for a stranger must also be good.

But that's a lie. As proof, this sort of philosophy gives rise to all manner of contradictions. We ask why humans have the capacity for such heights of good and such depths of evil... in reality we're just animals who identify and defend our tribe, and outsiders be damned. That's the truth. There is no contradiction.

You can talk about altruism from the comfort of your chair, but live out in the jungle, with limited resources, and you'll be demonizing neighboring tribes and training your children to kill outsiders just like 99.9999% of humans who came before you.

You think altruism separates us from animals? Such a nice fairy tale. It's the opposite. The fact that such a thing hardly exists in the real world is proof we're the same as animals, and what distinguishes us is our intellect.

Meh, they always run away as soon as the conversation gets serious.

I'd argue that emotion is extroadinarily beneficial to humans survival, seeing as how it's a distinctive characteristic of the most dominant species on the planet.

Now we are opening the right can of worms.

I am very interested in this subject and have researched it on multiple occasions.

The negative value of your premise was that other species on this planet do not share our capacity for emotion, correct?

Now we are getting into the definition of consciousness itself. What do you think it is?

Sentience?

Self-awarness?

Memories?

It is funny to see 355 posts and I didn't bother to read any.

I wrote a little sentence and you wrote a whole bible. I moved my pinkie finger and you wasted all your energy. I passed the afternoon with my girlfriend while you spent the whole day here wasting your life (that's kind of sad).

I was happy with a draw, and it looks like a victory. Pathetic.

Interesting to see 15 or 20 guys (I didn't bother to count, maybe more), around 40 years old, waiting a whole day for an unknown someone to say something. And in the end he doesn't say anything because he spent the afternoon with his girlfriend. It's pathetic (and kind of creepy too).

"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near." [Sun Tzu]

You will not know more about me (This time you earned more than just a sentence). Good bye little trollies.

Am I a troll pretending to be a player? Or am I a player pretending to be a troll seeking a twice earned revenge? Did I know all this trolls from years ago? Or did I just learn what a troll is on a wikipedia page? You will never know.

Now you are a really confused psyduck

Judging by how often he had to mention his girlfriend, I am quite confident in my analysis.

You're too new to know about drmrboss' friend list. So what was your past account if not bacon?

Also somebody explain to my why literally every fresh account that seems to have intricate knowledge of the forum and its users, immediately befriends drmboss?

I think majority are from YGNR or her impersonators.

1. They seek more attention by being friends with me as they know that reporters and mods will be checking my friend list.

2. I dont care how many banned people are on my friend list. I will accept friend request from all of them.
