I am so shocked that I have to bump this thread.
I used the Daily Puzzle for a few months only in the way of “solve and go”. Just now, I have read comments because today´s puzzle was a bit tricky. It looked as if few poor souls were drowning in a flood of spam and self-made puzzles. They asked for help, but kind hearts ware rare. Helping answers were far away…

It's so frustrating! I do the daily puzzle most days, but I'm pretty new to chess and often don't understand the reasoning behind the moves. I'd love to be able to use it to learn, but any comments actually discussing the puzzle get absolutely drowned.

that is sad. the mods used to clamp down on this before but now they given in to kids who want to use that forum to spam & advertise.
i see you have not joined a club or perhaps it's your privacy setting? why not find like minded people to form a club to discuss daily puzzles? this is the only option i see going forward with the site getting dark-side "kid friendly".
