There are a lot of topics about that. A number of suggestions are that OTB tracks most closely with blitz or rapid ratings here with different people giving different margins of error. And don't use your peak rating, use where you seem to average out.
Really, the only way to really tell, in any specific case, is to play some OTB rated chess.
I wanted to know how chess.com rating is similar or different with the standard ELO ratings.
