disable draw offers

How do I disable draw offers? Some people do consequent draw offers as a way to throw you off in a bullet game. I don’t really want to ever accept or offer a draw. How do I achieve that?

I think since draw agreement is one of the official ways to end a game of chess, there might not be an option to turn it off. But restricting it so it can´t be spammed would be a good idea indeed.

There can be an auto decline option.

Just ignore the offers.

easier said than done when you have 3 seconds and it comes with noise

Set the volume on your computer or phone to mute.  There goes the noise.

I don't know about the app, but on the website, when you get a draw offer, there is the option to stop further draw offers for that game alone.

Though, even if it is there, in bullet it takes a second or so to click on that, so I am not sure if it is helpful for bullet games.

In web version you can ignore consecutive draw offers once you declined it. It appears right nect to 'decline' button.

But i didn't see any option in mobile app.

I like other noises, just not one that can be arbitrarily triggered by my opponent for the sole purpose of interfering in the thought process. That's why it's not allowed to offer a draw in OTB chess when it is not your move.

In US Chess rules such an offer is considered improper and may result in penalties for disturbing an opponent but the opponent also has the option of simply accepting it (once a player decided to disturb an opponent by offering a draw on the opponent's move "knowing" that the offer was invalid and then was quite surprised to learn that the opponent was allowed to accept a draw with a poor position even though the player offering the draw really wanted to continue).

This is almost a year old, but the app still doesn't have an option to disable consecutive draw offers. Given that it also does not have more than 1 pre moves, someone who plays on a computer can easily flag someone on the phone just by spamming draw offers. There's just no way to stop this.

You can have multiple premoves

If you're using mobile app:

More > Settings > Play > Live Games > Change Premove as multiple

Nope. Not there.

Does anyone from chess.com read these or do they just not care?

Try updating the app

It’s fully up to date and on the iPhone. Your screenshot looks like Android.
