Silman deleted a comment that selfmate made about him - it began a heated discussion. The point is, Silman is allowed to delete what he wants on his article, but the debate is ethically, it didn't make sense - some said he was being rude to another's critique of him. Personally, I think he was just joking, having fun, and someone got their feelings hurt. But another person posted a comment that Silman deleted, and it started a backlash from many people.

As for me wanting to be more popular or have a stronger group than someone else, the correct deduction from the fact that I haven't started any group would be that I have no interest in running a group. I've never been able to get too fired up about the importance of being popular among a group of total strangers in cyberspace that I'll never meet in real life.

Not the least interested. I play chess for fun, and playing you wouldn't be fun. I only duel in the forums.
As I already mentioned, nobody is deafer than the one who doesn't want to hear and obviously you are not ready to listen to anything that doesn't share your opinion. You're just avoiding to stick to the point and you're digressing in order to flame.
Both you and daud2012 are combating the guys expressing different ideas instead of combating their ideas. What can I say to a guy that is judging me after the country I live in, or gratulates me considering that I write "infantile comments which just show how you will never reach adulthood" ? What to write to someone who consider all the ones with different opinion to be "people rated between 1200 and 1500", "herd of sheep" and insinuate that his opponents are not using their brains ? IMO, he really doesn't deserve an answer.
Coming back to you, I just want to repeat what I wrote in a previous post:
It seems very childish to me to assume and affirm that others "are not willing to take any risk" and "blindly follow whatever the administration says". Please let me understand your allegations correctly, whoever doesn't share your opinion is a chicken s***t who just want to be driven by the mighty admins ? Where and which are the claimed risks that you are facing, 'cause I really-really don't see them and who from the admins told us what to think ?

Yeah, for the past few months this coward has only been playing tournaments and an occasional team match if the opponent is from a country that isn't already on my list. Actually, at the moment my games are vacationed because I screwed up a few days ago and lost track of the time left on a game and my auto-vacation kicked in (that's the first time I've messed up like that), and I decided as long as all the games kicked over to vacation anyway, I'd take a few days off. But I'll get back into them in a day or two and quickly return to my losing ways.
I really don't miss davidegpc's posts. I think he received notifications because of the bad language he is using, which is something that can close your account, according to the rules of this site. Did you personally received any threat ? I presume the answer is NO.
