people can't just get a bunch of fake profiles - they have to become PREMIUM members for you to get the credit.

also, we retroactively gave membership credit to anyone who had referred a currently paying member!

The tools in the first post have been gone for a long time. You posted on a 13 year old topic.

Now you just go to Connect > Friends > Invite Friends

Its a good thing you got here when you did Martin, otherwise this thread conspiracy would of lingered for decades. I know for a fact the real Erik died 7 yrs ago. The OP of this thread is an IMPASTA.evil.png

13 year old post. Those options do not exist anymore.

Is there other ways to earn free diamond membership as you said it is 13 years already?

I think this is still active:

I don't think there's any other site provided consistent way. Major bugs reported might get awarded, though probably only for hard to pin down bugs and with detailed steps to reproduce. There's also a bug bounty program (with specific requirements) : https://www.chess.com/news/view/chess-com-bug-bounty-policy

You need to email them. Depending on your phrasing, you either get Gold, Platiunm or Diamond

Yes things have changed since 13 years ago so this thread is pretty inactive now.

So, these links aren't there and that invite gets membership thing is cancelled?

I still think if you invite someone with the appropriate invite options on the site, so that it uses your account as the referrer, then you'll get a membership if the invited member upgrades to premium.

Someone want to read the fine print? It can't be that easy? It's probably something like they have to spend 100 dollars for you to get the membership, can already think of a bunch of ways around this anyway. Peace

It doesn’t work now, there’s no such page!

Pretty sure using the invite options under the friends section is how it works now. If a friend you invite that way subsequently purchases a premium membership, you get a referral benefit.

There's also an affiliate system, but that's not designed for regular members.

What is silver membership now? I mean is it replaced by the gold membership?
