That's a good one epsilon.
Maybe it's also useful to stress the time-out percentage more when for example seeking a game. I wouldn't want to play someone with a time-out percentage of more than, say, 50%.
thanks shadow! i think we already did the last suggestion... check on the main forums page, etc.
as for the other one, i'll look into it.
Ouh! I just saw it!

great ideas guys. the timeout % is already on their stats, but we can probably make that part of the SEEK.
as for TIME PER MOVE, i wanted to have that done, but it is actually an expensive piece of info to get if you store the times in between moves. i may be able to do it differently, but i'm not sure yet. i agree though, that would be nice to know!

Save a timestamp per move. Then install a cron that calculates promedy of time per move and stores it in a cache table, per day (or per month) per user.Would that work? I don't know, I think I am not making any sense, lol
teams are coming SOOOOON. but what should we call them?
teams?
groups?
clans?
clubs?
you CAN see captured pieces on the board - look at the DETAILS tab!

sorry , premature of me :)...
how about 'Tribes'...?
Or guilds, why not? or perhaps city-states? Ok, clubs could be good I think.
But... why teams? For tournaments? Then teams could be alright...
But my point is this: The recent post thing on the right of the screen should bring you to the post in question and not to the beginning of the topic.
I agree with those alerts and that they only disappear once you refresh again or click them again. Many times I've been fooled into thinking that I got a new message, and when I checked it, I saw I had another new message!
And I also told erik about the RSS part. A RSS feed for your online games would also be nice. So the feed shows all games in which it's your turn. Then you don't have to go to Chess.com and check your online chess home every time to see if you have to make a move somewhere.
