Yeah unbelievable.
They spare no effort in this garbage...
strange that this question was asked elsewhere

the bunny's last few games were with komodo ... the plots thickens.
even @mustangmate the recurring resident proponent of the "respect for chess" movement is all riled up.

what's happening chess.com, old sport?
Yeah unbelievable.
They spare no effort in this garbage...
chess.com seems to be going through all the motions without actually fixing issues the users care about

'To reward his users, first he made points. He saw that it was good and all rejoiced, but he had not made any T-shirts to give out as he had earlier hinted. Also there were bugs creeping out of creation, and there was some gnashing of teeth among the users.
then he created v3 out of thin air. the users thought perhaps he was just going through a phase - a facebook phase. the bug population however rejoiced as they grew in number while there was more gnashing of teeth among the adult users. the children however reveled in the facebook experience, spamming for points and attention.
then he made achievements. once again some users rejoiced, and started doing things they would not normally do, just for the badges. even adult users began acting like children. Still there were bugs but only few adults remained and most of their teeth had already been worn out with all the previous gnashing, so there was less gnashing of fewer teeth.
and then he made flairs. this had to work, he thought. now the users will no longer mind the bugs, and those that did had already lost their teeth. the bugs and users can now coexist in harmony without any discrimination.
- a passage from the gospel of the bunny titled 'where genesis meets revelation'
Did u abort too many games?
not that the bunny knows of. mostly losing games because the bunny was too slow (no news here). no disconnections. no swearing. no nothing. perhaps some found the awkward silence terribly offensive.
if u've truly done nothing than the restriction makes no sense. however chess.com doesn't do things like that normally.
they do ask your opponents if they thought you were a good sport. so perhaps if one rejects sufficient number of rematch requests from sufficient number of opponents, or does something the opponent doesn't understand like castling or en passant that could be misinterpreted as cheating and they mark you down as a bad sport ...
or perhaps it's because the bunny doesn't have a flair ...
who's to say why chess.com does what anymore ...
No u were mentioning that the bot msg said u were being a poor sport and are therefore paired with other poor sports. Thats usually given to people who are aborting too many games or disconnecting too many.
It's not for rejecting rematch requests.
the point was your opponent can mark you as a bad sport for personal reasons. chess.com does not reveal how they process that information.
yeah but i dont think ur account is restricted for multiple people listing u as a bad sport..
Precisely, it would be nice for the policy to be made clear.
if u've truly done nothing than the restriction makes no sense. however chess.com doesn't do things like that normally.
yes, they do. new automation is put out by cc with no explanation quite often nowadays. the good sport/bad sport might be the culprit. there is no way to know as staff rarely responds to anything in the forums, unless, of course, the dreaded competitors are mentioned.
even sending in a ticket might not receive a response. i've sent in three in the last week and all have been ignored.
Then ask staff to make an official post regarding it, cuz im confused on it's purpose as well.
we shouldn't have to ask. and also we've seen our own poor @alczervik bark up that tree multiple times over the years with little result - it's almost as if chess.com is trolling him like the actual al czervik.
one of these days, he's going to get up from that pool and then there'll be hell to pay ...
This settles the question then, so if anyone else discusses the ‘is chess a sport’ conundrum they should be muted as a minimum.

So you're pounding the drum that only some dum-dum would come to the forum of the "chess is a sport" conundrum and should be held mum at a minimum.
so the bunny checks his mail and what does he see?
Hello autobunny
Your account is in violation of our Sportsmanship Policy. https://www.chess.com/community. You are currently limited to playing only other Poor Sports.
Really, chess.com? This bunny? Not enough ggs/gls/lols during games? The bunny demands a rematch!
