It almost seems pointless to try to build a proprietary search function when Google ends up being the best way to meet the objective anyway.
Perhaps rather than to take the time and effort that might be better spent adding chess related functionality, it makes more sense to just redirect the existing search funtion to a Google search that's constructed based on the area of the site chosen and search terms used.

Traced? No way! It made it's way back up to the unread post list, I just stumbled upon it 
I sometimes find it really tough to search these forums succesfully.
Case in point, i just read something that would be relevant to a post I saw yesterday or this morning. I cannot for the life of me dream up search terms that locate that post.
It was a 20 year old who just learnt the game, and wanted to know how good he could become. How do I find this? (the link would be good, but an explanation would be really helpful, this isn't my 1st fumble)
