...before the Halley's Comet re-appears.
Hah hah.
Still nothing from Live games. So Live games will basically never show, right? I may be asking for a refund for the remaining 9 months of my membership
Tomorrow I've noticed a massive addition of past live games in the Explorer.
From 3782 live games I've played at chess.com my base features 3688.
Good! Finally (after 3 years) it works!
Now the only remaining issue is absence of thematic games.
And the status of this problem is unknown - is it "to be done" or "limitation"?

I just noticed that you are talking about tomorrow
@SocialPanda so what? it would still be the sensation of the year if it happened on December the 31th 2015.
Now we wait for the thematic games in good spirit. Technically this must be peanuts compared to live games.
I only have 8 games out of my over 500. Can I at least have a timetable for when this would be fixed.
I also suggest you put something on your membership page saying the feature doesn't work. It is EXTREMELY misleading the way it is now.

There are periodic posts from staff in this thread. In particular, post #137 from CEO Erik (made 7 months ago) recognizes the frustration, explains the problem, states that they have made progress in loading correspondence games, apologizes and seems to say that they thought they had a possible solution for live chess but realized that their existing servers and database structure just can't handle the addition of 1 million new games every day.
So they continue to work on it. I don't think you will get a timeline any more than you can get a timeline for V3. I doubt they will fix the membership page either.

Your online/correspondence games are on, it is the Live games you are missing.
I agree it is misleading.
It is disappointing that this feature does not work (1/700 live and 10/50 online games show up for me), but it is understandable that there are so many games coming in every day, and the sheer volume of information would cause some issues.
However, I don't understand why all of my games played show up in the game archive, so clearly they're recorded on the server. Then why aren't they searchable? If all games are recorded, with PGN's already available, is it that difficult to sort them by moves played?

Have you tried using Game Explorer in V3? According to another thread, all you have to do is to try to look at your games in the Game Explorer using V3. They won't be there.
Then, when you go back a few minutes later--poof, they appear. Apparently, they have the software set up to go get your games once there is a query for them, in V3.
I am not making this up. It came from this thread: http://www.chess.com/forum/view/premium_members/game-explorer-not-working-for-my-games
If it does work for you, please let us know. (My own games have been available for several months. How it happened, I do not know.)
notmtwain, I'm not quiet able to follow you, what exactly should one do and where is V3?

Wow!!! This worked!!! Thanks!
Bagramian, at the bottom of the home page, there should be a link titled "Try the new Chess.com". Click that, then navigate to the Explorer. All of my games are showing up now.
Yeah, they fixed the turn-based games exept if they happened to start from a pre-fixed opening position which approximately 90% of ALL my games do.
The only good news: they dumped the live games completely. Meaning chances are increased we get the complete database for all turn-based games before the Halley's Comet re-appears.
