Game Finished - No Score Change?

I just won my third online game.  My opponent resigned.  There was no change in my score.  Shouldn't there have been?

Games have to be a certain length, I think 4 0r 5 moves, before they start affecting your rating

This is true, but the game in question lasted 47 moves.

I see.  I wasn't aware that games can be unrated.  How is this determined?

I believe when accepting a game, it will say rated or unrated at the left, when creating a game seek, it is set as rated defaultly.
