GM Wesley So Joins Chess.com

You know GM Wesley is not much for kibitzing in the internet. He will chat once in a while in ICC or playchess. In ICC, his handle is Wesley16 or Foster.

But since he's got perks for being a GM here, i'll investigate what are the perks. Perhaps a free premium? then i'll tell him about it.

I talked to so a couple times on ICC, hes very friendly, just kibitz though all the time :P

Thanks a lot guys. Though i keep abreast with Wesley activities by regularly talking to his pops, I have to go to Wesley house so i can make him post here hehe. His usual playground is ICC and playchess. I will need another session with him and his lap top. Gotta go to his house next week...

Wesley is probably to busy training to be able to post here and change his profile. But he will, soon enough. =)

I just got a comment on my blog that GM Wesley So is here on Chess.com. If he'd be kind to click the "Members" on top of his Chess.com page and select "Titled Players". There, on the right, is a link "Are you a titled player? If so, please submit your identification form here."

I think he can have a Diamond membership for free then. However I'm no staff here, just happy to be of any assistance...

My old laptop does not have a memory card slot. I have it in my netbook. Gotta make some transfers by USB.

I have NOT told Wesley that the admins sent him a message via his ICC account to verify his identity. Problem is, i don't think he reads his ICC messages.

I also sent the admins his contact numbers.

Anyway, premium membership is not that important to him. He will post a message in chess.com when he wants to. I showed him how already...

You showed a modern kid with the mental capacity of a planet how to post on the internet? was he hungover or just a slow day for him?
