Has chess.com increased the difficulty of the tactic trainer?

I guess I could just be going through a rut, but it appears the tactics are a little tougher than usual.  Im already down to 1797 from my peak rating of 1997.

Not at all. In my case actually the higher i go, i enounter some really easy one move solutions - i reached almost 2200.

infact last night i was watching Krush Tactics with GM Irina Krush show where she solved a bunch of 2300-2400 tactics and boy on couple of them i found solution as fast as her if not faster. 

What i noticed that there are really tricky one with low rating, becouse players see first 1-2-3 moves but never reach 4 or 5 last move and really easy one with high rating, becouse the vast majority of players which are low rated make some obvious move which on first second seems the solution but is not..

Several years back I broke 2600. Now I can barely get above 2300 on occasion.

Yes, the difficulty has increased for newer people becasue the tactics trainer has been around for so long and the problems are all beginning to skew towards the bottom just based on the law of statistics and large numbers

Well, some people are like lice. You got to learn to live with them, until you go to a pharmacy and get the right shampoo (in this case, at some point, certainly a good mod).
