I have heard about playing 90 minute games for example on chess.com but I am not sure how to do it.

Choose 'Custom' when it asks for time control. Of course, nobody will want to play 90 minute, but try anyway.

There are some Clubs that play longer Live time controls. Joining one of those will likely result in finding people.
