How do I read an entire post here?

There must be some limit as to how many words a post can contain since there are some (lengthy) posts I’d like to finish reading. I tried a few things but to no avail.

What do you mean? Are you asking about one of the apps?

dzp1111
No, here on this forum. There are posts that cut off where I can’t read its entirety.

And yes, I’m using the chess.com app on an iPad.

Is there a bug with the iPad implimentation of the App that prevents it from scrolling?

Is that what you are saying?

Can you give an example topic so staff can look into it?

I have the same problem. A long post just ends with… and I can’t figure out why.
I’m using an iPad in landscape mode and because of my disability I can’t change it.
I took a screenshot but I can’t paste it here.
dzp1111
Unable to copy/paste example. But like ALSU said, longer posts simply end with … in mid sentence.

No way to quote posts (or parts of quotes) either.

Can you post the subject of the topic or the original poster?

dzp1111
Subject, post or poster are irrelevant. Just can’t read the end of a long post on the iPad chess.com App.

Can’t paste anything on the App.

Can’t quote other posters on the App.

Should I need to do these things I’ll simply switch to the web side. No biggy.

It's not irrelevant. It would assist staff so they can look into it without randomly trying to find a topic where it's happening.

The only advice I can give would be for you to try the chess.com app on an iPad. Just choose any topic/post and look at any lengthy post (there are many).

I wish I could explain better or send pics, etc., but there are limitations while using the iPad on the chess.com app.

Best to check this out on an iPad. For the record my device(s) and apps are always up to date.

If you need more explanation please look for yourself -on an iPad.

I’m starting to regret bringing this up..

And like I said; no biggy.

I'm an Android person and don't have access to the iOS app so can't really check there but will validate it on Android.
I have also linked that post to the iOS dev team.

Great explanation and I second and appreciate any attempt to fix it because there is a lot of good information.

Thanks Martin. Best of luck to your team.
