How to deal with tough tournament

Just played a weekend chess congress and only go 2.5/5 after hoping to win. I went into the weekend thinking I had great chances to win the tournament and get a nice rating boost, but instead, I got 2 unlucky results and am not quite sure what to do. I know the reasonable thing is to just lift my head up and get on with it, and focus on the next one. Even though when you put it into perspective, it's not that bad. I just feel really disappointed, I'm always trying to fulfil the expectations I have of myself, and sometimes I just feel like I'm going backwards. Any advice?
All I can say is to keep playing.
Also, do something fun for yourself.
