How to Play timed against bots ?

Good evening everyone, I would like to ask if there is a way to play timed on chess.com (e.g. 5 minutes each) against bots, in the same way as you do against human opponents. Thank you very much.

The Custom option on bots let you choose from a list of time controls.

I do not see a "Custom" option anywhere. Did they remove this feature?

I am not sure if you ended up finding it or not, but just in case you didn't, if you choose the bot and look down to where you choose to play as white, black, or either you can click the arrow on the left side of that and a drop down menu will appear and near the bottom is the Time Control section. I will add though, that it isn't really fair or similar to playing against a person under the same Time Controls because the AI makes their moves very quickly.

I just recently tried a 10 min. game against the bots I have been playing untimed against to learn/re-learn basic principles and tactics, and I lost the game even though being up a good amount of material due to time. I looked at the AI clock and they still had 9:00 left and 0 of their moves took more than 2 seconds, with most coming in 1 sec. or less.

Yes. Look at the bottom line. You'll see the crowns. Click on the drop-down list, and you'll see "Custom". Click on Custom, and you'll see the time limit option.
