Those automatic Windows updates keep screwing up your settings! I think they deliberately do it to Windows users who are not using the Windows IE browser. However, I must tell you that the latest IE 8 browser is a mess! You are much better off using Google Chrome or Firefox. But before yu switch read about this topic at:

Thank you, Don! I usually use Firefox and I have just noticed that sound is fine on Chrome.

Thank you for the info, Kristion. I know that Chess.com is coming out with version 3 pretty soon and maybe the programmers will fix that problem.
