nah bro its possible with dedication i started at 12 and thats my aim. (im 15 now).

its never too late to start anything . obviously early is better that later but 12 is a completely okay time to start . your brain is still developing and you will learn faster then someone who comes back to chess in their late 20s for example ( me ) also you have more time since all you really have to do at age 12 is schoolwork .

I'm 15, started taking chess seriously six months ago, and I've gone from 228 to 700 in rapid since then. Definitely not too late, but it does take a lot of dedication.
