well this is different and im embarrassed that im even gonna contribute to this thread but i cant help myself...straight men of all ages, from 13-103, like pretty women and, married or not, engage in flirtation on anonomous sites...even sites devoted to chess! so if you dont want male attention dont choose a sexy female avatar to display to the world...simple as that...if you want to keep the avatar be prepared to rebuke flirtatious behavior, period....you cant have your cake and eat it too...no offense ment that just the way i see things.
the way u see things may differ from anothers point of view. i play whom or whatever. but i prefer like most normal men to view women and shiny things. that being said, i've not come on to a pretty pic of a woman,rock, animal, cartoon or inanimate object of any kind. i prefer to look at the supermodel (hint-Deal or no deal)that u have as ur avitar. keep changing her up keeps it interesting

i totally disagree. if all is gender based then a beautiful sunrise or a mountain could be bi-sexual. and if you take our freedom of choice whats next? i thought this site was for the advancement of skill in the art chess not the unwanted advancement of perverts be it male or female avatar. so for the love of the game play the person not the avatar. Dang!, I felt real political there.
