There are bad people out there. There are also good people out there. Bad memories live with you forever good memories rarely happen. Which is why you should become the good you seek in others and give others good memories in the community. I chat a lot in games. I even discuss ideas and analyze the position after the game. There are a surprising number of very helpful people out there. Also a high number of toxic and creepy people. I try my best not to expect the worst out of people.
Basic rule of online conversations is to respect boundaries and demand your boundaries be respected. Anytime you feel like those boundaries are being crossed, just leave. Leaving online is far easier than real life. Cheers!
