Um don't post waffles, pdela will probably think that they are for him. Wink

ivandh

Why would I post waffles? This thread is clearly about alcohol. Do you think this is one of those sites where people go off-topic all the time?

It's a very culty English film of the 80s, about unemployed actors swimming in various kinds of booze.  I'm surprised it's not playing on a loop at your place...

Laughing I'm sure I've had dreams where William Powell, and Myrna Loy were ordering martini, after martini, after martini...

Yes, it's no coincidence that the wartime-sobriety installment in the series was easily the least entertaining.  As visits to small-town America usually are.

pdela

so for now the line-up for the tourney is Kacparov and pdela, if no one else shows up I would have a serious reason to get trysts into *PRISON*

We never asked you to come.

I think small towns in America could be fun actually, unless it's Washington DC.

Conquistador

I grew up in a small town of 900.  I remember the community called it a village because it was so small.

I thought I killed this thread!

Cystem_Phailure

I'm not sure how my "town" ended up with a name, since it's unincorporated and doesn't have any legal status.  No elected officials or anything.

I believe the correct spelling is Google . . .

The town where I grew up was 15 miles away from the next nearest town. I met a girl from New Jersey once, and when I said that to her she stared at me in disbelief. She had never considered the possibility that there were people who lived outside the megalopolis.
