I can't resign

For those with the issue, do you have Confirm draw/resign enabled? Does the problem persist with that off?

If I have confirm draw. resign disabled and i click resign the game will resign,

If I have this enabled and I click resign and confirmation does not pop up to resign, hence cannot resign or abort.

Staff are looking into the issue as well, so it may be fixed as they figure out what exactly changed.

I'm just here to be another complaining voice, hopefully we can be heard. I can't resign!! the resign abort and the draw tab doesn't work!! Extremely frustrating !! What the hell.... I'm using fire fox on a laptop computer.

Found out there was a recent update that may mean older browser versions may not support that feature. If at all possible, upgrade your browser to a newer version.
If you are unable to upgrade, see if the information in the link from my last post gets it to work.

The change that is impacting the resign option will start being applied to other parts of the site at some point.

If you're not one of the below versions or newer, you'll likely have the problem

• Chrome (Chromium) : 119

• Edge : 119

• Firefox : 128

• Safari : 17

Same on Opera ..

Opera is based on Chromium , so if it's not based on version 119, it will have the issue.

i cant resign, i cant chat much, i cant even click on players name to see info about them , there is a black box coming out instead not able make disappear, the review game button working half the time with 2 windows popping up ..no idea whats going on past week

If you’re on an older browser, it’s not supported anymore.

Same issue. Before this issue, it was the screen glitching and giving error codes during games. Updated iPhone yesterday, which has fixed the glitch, but I can’t resign now.

I’m having the same issue on Chrome where resign is not working. I just downloaded the most recent version of the browser not one hour ago after checking this forum. I know ideally I should never resign, but I also don’t want to be forced to continue playing games where I’m clearly lost

edit: turned off “confirm resign” and it now works. But would still prefer to keep that option on when this issue is resolved

The resolution it to be at a supported browser version. For Chrome or Chromium based browsers that's version 119+

More and more parts of code are going to require a minimum browser version. The pop-up code is one of them.
