I finally reached 2000 Blitz

I know some people will say "no one cares" or "no one asked" but I care and am proud of this and I just wanted to share this little milestone and create this post for you - chess.com forum lurkers - to share your recent milestones, What rating goals have you achieved? Are there goals you want to set? For example: This was a goal I had set for the end of 2021 and I've achieved it in June! I've now changed it to 2200 for the end of 2021.

I'm not great at bughouse, I just play it like normal chess and place the pieces defensively when needed. Tip: play fast because flagging and clock control is important in bughouse. Just don't get mated.

I didn't ask, and I don't care, but congratulations!!! I remember getting to 2k blitz (when blitz was 10min, though, so...), it was such a big deal. You get the ever-elusive "2" at the front!

why not 

lots of reasons but mostly because most of my time was going to my Survival 50+ goal (sooo time consuming). Now that I'm done with that, I'm trying to finish my chess reading (Kmoch's Pawn Power In Chess) and then I might play more chess.com games.

Right now I only occasionally try to bring up rapid in 10 min. rated chess, but blitz I haven't played in a long time for rated.

Oh for sure; I think most beginning chess players greatly underestimate just how tough certain rating levels are and how the higher ratings almost seems exponential to previous ones
