hi

When i take party for ten minutes, even when i win in the game almost in the end of the party... ( and i play quick !) I lose.

See the picture. This time i had the white. The play was good ( +5) and I dominate.

And at the end, chess app declare you lose...

Even when i have the black, its the same thing.

Everybody can explain me ? I dont arrive to contact chess.com.

El-Mestro

I forget

When i lose... The app chess.com declare i lose ( its normal) even at the end of the 10 minutes im not chess and mat.

Thanks again

You don’t play fast. 34 moves in ten mins is slow play

Thanks

Sorry, just trying to help. 20 move In first minute is fast play

Hi

Thanks TheHarbingerofDoom

So, if i play fast, why i lose ?

Perhaps i m not really fast to the end ?

Thanks again

I think you just need to work on tactics a little more. Train your vision and look at what’s attacked, and try to threaten checkmates more often. I hope I helped you a little ✨

Thanks

I dont understand when i have white for example, i lose the game, even at the end.. So its the rules apparently.

ItzMinnieCheckmates

Ah, having white doesn’t guarantee a win!

El-Mestro

But its always the same thing when i have the black. Nobody loses against me when they have white and they dont finish chess and mate at the end...

El-Mestro

I was thinking its handicap ?

I think you're a bit confused about how a game of chess is decided.

To win a game you must either deliver a checkmate, have your opponent run out of time or have them resign. If you run out of time, get checkmated or resign, you lose. The game will end in a draw if the same position is repeated three times (repetition), one player doesn't have any legal moves (stalemate), or neither side can checkmate other (not enough material). If one side runs out of time and the other doesn't have enough material for a checkmate, the game is also drawn.
