Good for you! I just got an aPad (running Android), and I've also got the chess.com app. Of course, it's not the iPad, but considering what I paid for it, it's cool.
I love my ipad...

actually, you're better off right now w/apple......android is having some issues, especially with YouTube. I'm looking to see if I can change the OS.

Well getting iphone/ipad os on to an android device would be quite coup as the android hardware is sooooo much cheaper.

no, I meant another Linux os! Anynay, YouTube now working, for those of you who couldn't wait how it turned out!

I wish I knew something about linux. I'd like to explore it a bit and see what all the fuss is about.

You may never go back to Windows - unless it's a software need....
I'll check out the link. But fyi, I left windows in the dust about 6 years ago. I got so sick and tired of buying and dealing with security issues all of the time. Once os x hit it was only a matter of time for me.

I feel out of it. What's an aPad?

The aPad is the knock-off that's coming out with the Linux Android os.
Maybe not as slick as the original, but it's way cheaper!
I put off buying one for months now...
I finally got one and it just completely rocks. I can't believe how much fun it is. Chess.com live chess works great and it's so cool to just use the ipad to play my games on it. I'm rarely surprised by how much more I like something than I think I will. It's like I have the opposite of buyers remorse.
I'm just saying...
