I just finished playing Russian IM Roman Lovkov in online chess and I'm proud of myself that I hung in there for 14 moves. It wasn't Fisher -Spassky -more like Fisher Price toy vs.Spassky lol. I'm resolved to continue to try to take on players who are better than me bc conventional wisdom states and neuroplasticity proves that you only get better through struggle. Watch out Magnus, I might be gain on you lol

How nice for you.

What possessed you to play the Latvian Gambit, 2..f5? That is a dubious system that might work in a bullet chess game against a novice but has no chance in a correspondence game against an International Master. After 3..fxe4, you were lost.
