I quit chess.com - can't maintain 1500 rating due to sandbaggers.

Using rating in the 1000 elo bracket rapid to measure strength is pointless. There's usually no difference in play between an 800 and a 1600. Completely broken. I've said this many times, as someone who has played Daily chess their entire life and im 1700-1800 strong at Daily chess, many 800 elos are as strong or even stronger. Many others are just barely learning to move the pieces. And both types are the same elo. You never know what you are going to get, rendering the meaning of "800 elo" pointless.

Just ran the first game through Lichess and my opponent played 28 centipawn loss at 900 elo level. In a 40 game move. I had to play at 17 centipawn loss for THIRTY moves before he blundered one single pawn which turned the position in my favour.

Imagine having to put a 20 centipawn loss performance in the 800 elo bracket just to have the chance to tip the game in your favour on just one pawn loss.

Every single game I have lost this week has been to a player with a highest rating of 1700 or above, these players are stomping me with 90-95% accuracy, when I play fellow 1500s I win but then there are so many of these sandbaggers it is impossible to progress. Quitting the site because this is stupid, sort it out moderators.

This doesn't make any sense. You have lost to highly-rated players and you win against lower rated players. What's the problem, what's the surprise?

The highly rated players are playing at 1500 that is the surprise. They are not real 1500s.

Yes, I've long suspected this, it's in their commercial interest to not ban paying subscribers unless it's really really clear. Otherwise, let it slide and play down the problem. In fairness to chess.com cheat detection is hard, and they don't want to get sued by paying customers unfairly banned for cheating. Still, I think it's right to acknowledge the situation and chess.com's vested interests though.

I was 1640 blitz last week, today 1400 and still going down. I played about 30 games today, won probably like 3 and literally none of my opponents played below 2050, 2200 on average according to engine (me around the same, little bit less mostly). I don't know what happened compared to last week, but people seem to play perfect games, no mistakes, no blunders, rarely any inaccuracies. Slowly slowly I am just being outplayed game after game and I feel like even those 1400 players now are suddenly superior to me, while last week I was equal with 1600-1700 lol.

Don't worry I tilted 200 points 3 days ago also btw if your tilted you will make position to easy for opponents and there fake rating estimate will go brrr lol I got a rating once of 2850 cause a 2500 hung a piece on move ten (I did not play like a 2800 lol)

Tbh you probably got maybe 1-2 cheaters in the mix but idk at all lol

I have been playing all this week like 6-8 hours every single day either games or puzzles/puzzle rush, maybe that's why, maybe I am just mentally exhausted and need a break.
