Lol, I’ve only gone from about 800 to 1560 since December / January when I really started picking up chess

Always play longer tc to improve, 3+0 won’t help much but 10+0 or 15+10 are solid for improvement. Do lessons you get for free, puzzles, practice every day and you’ll improve

For me it’s basically like a job week
8 hours on Average give or take, sometimes up to 12-14
never average below 40 hours of chess a week, usually aim for 60-70

Then again I play chess obsessively
mostly focus on lessons either from YouTube or chess.com and play long tc’s
lichess offers infinite free puzzles if you want to check it out

So I’m rated 400, and I feel like I’m improving pretty rapidly considering I was rated 300 2 days ago. Is this because I’m low rated, and you improve quicker at the lower levels? Then it gets harder as you go up in rating? I don’t consider myself to be a fast learner, and I’m puzzled.
