Introduction

Hello, just joined and would like to introduce myself. My name is John I live in Perth Western Australia, married to Jenny and have 2 daughters Jacqueline and Jade. I recently dusted off my chess computer which had been laying idol for a # of years its a Kasparov from Saitek, excellent computer which I purchased around 1990 apart from the sound being a bit scratchy its been very reliable. I played thru a Paul Morphy study game last night and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and skill he played with in that particular game, he made it look easy. Anyway looking forward to seeing what the site has to offer and might get to see a few of you on the other side of the board

Not a statistician, my wifes a Nurse she does procedures, the doctors when they need something in a hurry, like right now, use the word "stat",  the word appeals to me, add attack and I think it makes a good chess user name.

I see. And I am familiar with the word "Stat" in a medical situation (although not personally).
