so basically i need to farm trophies in leagues so is this allowed to play aganist lower rated players to get trophies?

I think you should join tournament/arena there you'll get + more trophies that's all ik I don't know if you are allowed to play against lower rated players for farming

Playing games gets trophies. As long as they are valid games you should be fine. If the site decides that is an exploit of the leagues process, they could change the rules so you don't get trophies in direct challenges or maybe if the rating difference it too high.
