Speaking of the Broncos... after the first 4 or 5 games of this past season, I honestly thought that they were the probably the biggest threat to the Patriots repeating as champions. Turns out that view was ... inaccurate.

Tom Brady isn't even a top five QB all time, much less the greatest football player ever. In fact, he has never even been the best QB in the league at any point in his career. There were always one or two that were better. Don't even cite his longevity because it isn't legitimate criteria. These days, if you sneeze on a quarterback, some zebra throws a flag. He wouldn't have stood up to the pounding that the old timers did. Passing stats are not legitimate criteria, either, which are irrefutably higher due to rule changes.
Rings? OK it helps to be on the best and most balanced and well coached team every year. Just go replay the film, people ... OBJECTIVELY. What you will see is a QB that must be kept clean, has to have open WRs, and time to throw to them.
Dan Marino was better.
Joe Montana was better.
Steve Young was better.
Maybe even Troy Aikman was better.
Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning were always better.
Big Ben and Eli Manning are just as clutch.
I know their careers overlapped, but swap Kurt Warner and Tom Brady on the time line and Kurt Warner is better.

I actually don't necessarily disagree with that; however, no quarterback who is arguably better than him in the regular season is better in the playoffs, and vice versa. As for your claim that he has never been the best QB at any point in his career, tell me: who was the best QB in the league last season? How about over the last 2 seasons? Last 3?
And no, Ben Roethlisberger is not remotely comparable with Brady in terms of clutchness. In his 2 SB victories combined he had 1 TD, 3 INT and less than 400 passing yards. You call that clutch?

Brady is not the best QB and never has been the best QB.
He certainly isn't the best of all time.
The media has a job to sell you something. They want us all to believe that we're witnessing something of historical proportions; seeing something unprecedented. It's all crap. They consistently change the rules to make passing and receiving easier, because they believe that's what the spectator wants to see. Then when it happens, they tell the spectator, "see! You're watching the best ever!"

However, both these QBs played in the same era and Manning was better than Brady in the regular season. Brees was better than both in the regular season. Now you can't argue that Brady is the best ever due to his playoff performances, because that is just flat out wrong.

No, I did not get any statistics wrong. Read what I said again. In SB victories he has 1 TD, 3 INT. What's wrong about that? And to claim that someone is almost as clutch as Brady due to having 3 TDs and 4 INTs in SB appearances is, well... there's nothing I can say in response to that.
By the way, it's at best debatable that Manning was a better regular season QB than Brady. Since you mentioned regular season stats, let's look at career passer rating. Out of Brady, Manning and Brees, who has the highest score in that category.
Going beyond the specifics, moreover, you haven't attempted to refute my main point. There may have been QBs who are arguably better than Brady in the regular season, but they are not as good in the postseason - and vice versa. Even if he isn't the "most clutch," or the best regular season QB (both of which are far from settled conclusions), he's the best overall.
And are you really going to claim that Rodgers and Brees have been better than Brady over the past 3 seasons or so? The stats (and championship) speak for themselves.
