The current state of the chess.com forums sucks

Yep. Complaining doesn’t get anywhere; if you want better forum content, start making better forum content (ex. if you want more chess related posts, share a game you played). As the maxim goes; “be the change you want to see”. @Lc0_1: I agree with your original point though, the forums have become so tiresome that I rarely participate anymore anyways.
TL;DR:
The forums are toxic and I don't like it. We can't do much and I'm pessimistic.
Now, we had you on the list for a reason. The list was to warn members of our club not to engage with these members because it often goes up in flames. The goal wasn't hated, it was to avoid any more issues. It is not a blacklist, and the OP violated the ToS by posting private information. However, it seems like you have realized how bad the forums are. You want things to change. So do we. So top fighting against us, because we have the same goal.
The club hasn't been a failure, though. By inadvertently acting as a feeding ground for trolls, it has shown people that trolls will stop at nothing to preserve their status. Phase one was awareness. Phase two is doing something about it. There are things we can do. For one, we should treat everyone as equals, which will decrease some of the want for status when the majority treats the patzer, the forum junkie, and the titled member the same. Praise people for what they have done well. Figure out how to defuse a conversation correctly. Striving for and making or a better forum is what we want to accomplish.
Why would I join a club I was banned from for no reason? Also, did you even read what I said? I wasn't calling you or your "cleanup club" out. I understand that you want things to change here. I do too. But it's just not going to happen. We need to accept the fate of the chess.com forums...
It's sad but true: nothing's going to change.
And about me being publicly shamed: STOP. I want to be off that list. I don't belong with the others.
Look, the only reason that list public is because someone violated the rules. It’s not “public”, and it’s not “shaming” either. It’s so we don’t engage accidentally. I don’t know the circumstances with the ban, but you could PM Colby.
Now you need to explain why it isn’t going to change. Just saying it won’t doesn’t make it true. I provided a reason why there will be change. What’s your evidence that it won’t?
Besides, I can’t find any forum post of ours that has your name as a troll. It’s probably the Forum Elite.

Since you know the owner of forum elite why not contact him and ask for my name to be removed?

I hate to say it, but this thread has turned into one of those toxic threads that the OP is railing against. The rest of you can continue on if you want to, but I'm outa here. Unfollowing. :-)
So, the glass is full... of everything!
No. The glass contains something.
Maybe not everything, but everything in the context of water and air. Those are 2 different substances.
Anyway, I’m leaving the thread.
