Personally, i think league feature is kinda "giving hope" of rewards to players, and some members joined chess.com instead of other platforms, one of the reasons, is because of this feature Hopefully chess.com may consider giving some minor (if not major) prizes for those winning the league every week, it doesn't have to be too much as a reward, but still appreciating those joining this platform, as my suggestion.

They gave a lot of prizes while the contest was running. But it ended in February 2022...

Well yes the league is broken and that actually the major cause i use chess.com instead of Lichess (wich i mainly played on before)
