There are many groups vying for members. A few to consider:
Learning with Fun - A small group; mauerblume acts like a coach to lower-rated players.
* The Dream Team * - A large group; has an "Apprentice" program which matches up improvers with tutors rated 400 points higher.
The Study Buddy Group - A small group; improvers encouraging each other.
Tell them likesforests invited you. Good luck!
Greetings Everyone!
I'm somewhat new to this site, in the sense that I had a premium account over the summer, but had to cut it for financial and academic reasons. I'm done with school now, and have a job that can support my habit, so I'm back!
I was browsing through some of the teams on this site, and I found myself getting progressively more overwhelmed by the task. I'd like to join a group that has a good amount of structure, and some good methods of communication (someone in the role of "coach" might be nice, too). I'm not a remarkably strong player, but I can certainly be taught (I imagine I'm in the 1100-1200 range, but I know I'd learn fast with some direction).
If anyone knows of a group on this site that would benefit from my membership, please let me know. I'm very excited to be back, and to grow with this community :).
