Soooo... I'm officially 2000+ in rapid (I guess) and I'd like some people to play with around my level (1900+) so we can both learn a few things. Also maybe open to teaching a couple of people over the chess.com analysis boards.

Any takers?

(First post on the forums lol don't hit me too hard for this one)

If anyone better than me wants to play I'm open to learning a few things 😁

Though you can probably beat me in theory so I don't think we're at the same level 😅

Then again... What if I avoid the Dragon and the KID...

I’ve been continually working on my set repertoire for OTB and would be glad to practice the English, Sicilian and Modern—Pterodactyl defence against a stronger training partner.

I play to a 1500 strength OTB. Online I prefer  5/5 or 15/10 unrated games.

Would interested in lessons too; especially defending against d4 being my weakness.

I think you're overestimating me... I haven't hit the books hard yet and there's still a ton that I need to learn, especially against the Taimanov or the Trompowsky. But yes I love playing against the Dragon or with the KID

Well, I play the English and Sicilian (and was U1300 OTB at the start of this year lol about 1400 rapid) so that would be very interesting, never really understood the modern so can you teach me a bit about it? This could be nice.

*Taimanov maniac here*

Hehe I barely know anything about d6/g6 systems but I can fill in the gaps on e6 setups for you!

Also got a little bit of trompovsky prep from a weird rapid game vs a 2100.

I like the possible transpositions to hyper accelerated dragon, and flexibility into the beefeater or KID lines depending how white responses on the 4th moves and where black chooses the counter play on the board.

The only opening out of that I have experience with is the KID lol
