I’ve been feeling like I don’t have fun playing chess anymore, I think this feeling started when I started trying to improve my game with coach and reading chess books. Any opinions ?

Sometimes your goal should be to just enjoy the game.

Improving to 2300 isn’t all it is cracked up to be.

Actually thats what I was thinking we really need to learn the way to enjoy the game in the process of learning it. It's pretty weird for me due to when I see some people they just play without any wish of improvement or leaning new stuff about the game.

Just take a break. If you ever come back, you will arrive stronger.

Yes, in my current rating, I am only now okay with just playing for fun without improvement. I should have realized that earlier…

It's essential to strike a balance between actively working on improving your game and enjoying the process of playing chess.
