Chess.com is the place I go to make me feel better about my spelling and grammar. I always recommend Chess.com to people getting a divorce. My love for Chess.com can be expressed in algebraic notation:)

hmm advise good but think you not that universal chess.com should be all over internet? good points, but people disagree.

This is supposed to be funny, I don't  mean anything by it. if you are going to be crazy over it then you are one of those people in which case you should stop being one of those people.

Yes, the internet is universal...

I live in a place devoid of chess players. I like Chess.com because it has allowed me to pursue chess as a hobby.

I like chess.com because it is a great community to play chess, online tournaments, and it's a great way to pass the time. Getting a premium membership is a great deal, you get unlimited tactics, tournaments, improved support from the staff, chess mentor, and the game database, where lots of master games are recorded. As well, there are groups that you can make (premium membership required), to play inter group vote chess where people vote for the best move and discuss the move. Team matches is when you represent your team by playing two games of chess against a member of another team. Overall, chess.com is a great site to play chess and make friends.

(Staff, you can shorten and modify this in any way you like. Sorry for making it long, just saying what I like about Chess.com)

Yep, this is a blatant call for ego-stroking testimonials that we can shamelessly use to convince other people to register and become members. Thanks!

lol!

I love chess.com for Video Lessons, Tactical Trainer, live games, live broadcast of major tournaments, and for friends I've made here :)  It is TOTALLY TOTALLY worth the membership fee.  In fact, I joined because a friend told me that it was totally worth it to become a paid member.  He was right :)

Hooray for Chess.com!

The community is amazing. There are many free websites to play chess on, but none as socially interconnected as this one.

In 2010 I was a drunken heroin addict trying to commit suicide. After a friend told me about chess.com, I've been heroin free for 2 yrs, and I'm back on my way to enjoying life again!   Thank You chess.com

For what it's worth, if any of y'all actaully want to be featured, you should put yourself as your avatar. c.c likes customers to look like real people. XD

Chess just isn't a game any more on chess.com, it's an

extravaganza bonanza!

Of course, a policy like this would NOT reflect the usership of Chess.com. So I hope they do not dismiss good statements just because of a profile pic.

BTW - That is NOT me pounding a nail into my head. It just seemed appropriate for how I feel sometimes when I play chess.

Great chess instruction articles, tactics trainer, Chess Mentor, tournaments, 24/7 availability, in-depth training on every single major opening, master games, puzzles, interesting forums...I could go on. I just wish I had time for it all. It's a great site!
