unfortunately I found a thread where people were complaining about this a 6 weeks ago, and no response from chess.com, so not sure that is honestly the best place either
might need a saturation campaign on all fronts!

Yes unfortunately chess.com don't like messing with vote chess cuz "it is only played by a small minority" of people on the site
for real! boy.
that explains why the captured pieces have always been the wrong colour, really threw me for a while!
/ that their move had been implemented etc.

I realize that most people can not see the game / comments but this thread is mainly for the mods, as they clearly need to pass this on to the devs to fix this glitch asap as people will be so angry if they lose discussion / a turn in vote chess.
We only noticed it because we have such a large / active team in our games, with just the right number of games to notice when something isn't right by its relationship in time to the other games.
From memory we have a wide range of browsers and OSes.
