The contest idea may not necessarily involve a chess game. If you're curious, you can find some of my previous contests here for reference:

To make it clear, regarding the last note, anyone who participates will receive a direct message from me letting them know once the voting phase begins to ensure that no one gets disqualified unfairly.
A certain number of low rated players, ie 400 elo with 100 games played are to be gathered, as well as a group of players over 1000 elo. The players are paired up one high elo to one low elo to give them advice and coaching. After a week, all the low elo players compete in a rapid tournament. The high elo player who has been paired with the winning low elo player is the winner of the tournament.
The goal is to have a new tournament experiences that involves all levels of the community, allows low elo players to have a tourney where they can be competitive, connects them with some coaching/help, and give higher elo players a chance to engage in a fun new competition style.
While I didn't mention this, it would be better if it's an idea that's easily accessible by many
It doesn’t have to involve an actual chess game, but it might be good to stay within the chess atmosphere. For example, a recent giveaway was about guessing a certain chess move. In this case, there’s no need to play something such as bunch of rapid chess games to win the membership, which makes it fair for contestants of all levels. Also, the console and game you mentioned would cost over $500. Even if it were popular, I don’t think enough people here have it to make an appropriate contest. There's also the fact of needing of an online membership. A bit too complicated. If you're sure about your idea, I'll register your username, but I just want to confirm if that's what you want.
Contest will officially end 1 day after this message.
Note: If there are fewer than 10 participants, the contest will be canceled and no winner will be declared
“Puzzle Sprint Showdown”
All participants will attempt the same set of Chess.com puzzles (for example, a custom puzzle set or Puzzle Rush).
The goal is simple:
Get the highest score in a fixed time (e.g., 5 minutes), OR
Solve all puzzles in the fastest time (if a fixed set is used)
Rules:
Everyone must use the same mode/settings
One attempt only (or 2 max, host decides)
Ties are broken by time taken
Why this works:
Fair for all ratings (puzzles adjust difficulty)
No need to schedule matches
Fast and easy to participate
Skill-based but still fun for everyone
Winner = highest score / fastest completion.
[Officially Ended]
So this would be similar to a contest I did few years ago. Unlike the giveaways where I ran a contest based on a self-made idea, this one is all about members submitting ideas and implementing the winning one.
Here’s how it works:
Participants will post contest ideas for membership giveaways. For example, a blitz tournament where the winner earns a membership. The community will vote for the best contest idea, and the person who submitted it will win a gold membership (or they can gift it to a friend). The chosen contest will then be held at a later date, and the winner of that contest will earn a gold or platinum membership, depending on the difficulty (which I will decide). Note that the contest ideas should only have a single winner, so one that's trying to give prizes for second or third place won't be accepted.
To put it simply: this giveaway has two parts. First, submitting the idea, and second, winning the contest that is eventually implemented.
Ideas will be open for 4–7 days from the time of posting. If too many ideas are submitted, voting can get complicated, so make sure to post on time. At least 10 ideas should be submitted for this contest to remain active. I’ll notify everyone 1 day before the deadline as a reminder. After the submission deadline, I’ll create another forum for voting, where I’ll compile all ideas. For now, I’ll keep track of participants in the “Participants List” below this comment. More info about voting will be shared later.
There are three rules/conditions:
Important note: Anyone who submits an idea must vote later. You cannot vote for your own idea, but you still have to participate even if you think your idea is the best. You will be immediately disqualified if you didn't. Some might not like this , but it ensures that people are actually obligated to be in the voting phase.
