Muted: What It's Like

What really happened is this:  I uncovered a story about chess.com CEO Eric claiming that he would beat Bezos and Branson into space.  Embarrassingly, the mission had to be scrubbed because NASA got involved and kept accidentally messing up the equipment so they couldn't pull it off in time.   The solution was simple –– kill the story before it got off the ground, if you'll forgive the pun.  

Fair enough, but did they really have to use the clowns? 

It's the clowns that still get to me even to this day.
