How is it that chess is affecting your eyes?
My parents are stopping me from playing chess

If you can't play online, play on the board.
Also, if it affect your eyes because of "using the computer" try different themes, hopefully that might help.

Yeah but the most effective way to practice chess is online, grandmasters also play online

When you go for your eye test, take Virat Kohli with you - he dropped a sitter in the outfield the other night.

I am not joking

Neither am I.
I am talking about my problem not Virat Kohli's. I want suggestions about my problem not others'.

I think you can increase the size of the board on here.
Yeah, but when you so close for a long time on a screen, you forget to look far away.

Why don´t you try some eye exercises
That might help but in the long term and very little, it won't pass me from the eye test tomorrow. Also, it won't help me deal with my hostile parents.
Hello, My name is Ariz Husain and I am 13 years old. These days online chess is increasing in the world, playing chess online has affected my eyes and weakened them. Tomorrow is my eye test, my parents said that if I needed to wear spectacles after the test they wouldn't allow me to play chess because they say that health is more important and my point is that chess is my passion. Isn't it unfair? Please advice me something to cheer my parents up and deal with them.
