No alerts for vote chess games

ilmago and I are not receiving alerts anymore when our opponents' time has expired, and it is now our group's turn to move.

Also when the time is up, the game just sits at "0 seconds," and the the board says "Voting Ended."

Yes, all the vote chess games are "paralysed" - not switching sides when one team's time is up - sitting at "voting ended" and "0 seconds", and of course not generating any alerts

alerts should be fixed. having problems with the votechess script a little today. working on the issue. thanks

I just got a bunch of alerts, probably fixed now, thanks guys...

maybe it would be a better idea for staff to advise us not to start new vote chess games, especially quick games.

then when it is fixed, we can be notified again.

better to be given the advice in advance, rather than have the frustration and disappointment 1 or 2 hours into a 10 min time control game for example.

had i known everything was going to break, I would have given you the notice. :) Once I found out it was broken, I was able to fix it within a few hours.

regarding the script, I think the script is operating ok now. i'm keeping a close eye on it. thanks for the bug reports.

Even after I open a game now, the alert continues to appear in the top right hand corner of the page.

thanks guys, this was a caching issue. should now be resolved.
