No response to draw offer

I'm in the middle of a tournament, and I have a game where a draw would be a quite alright outcome for both players. Also,I am in quite a lot of stress from work recently, so deciding a game in this way would be quite a relief. But I haven't received any Reaction to my draw offer , after sending it multiple times, and the other player just keeps playing. I am not sure if it's a problem of the system or the other player ( he hasn't been too responsive to messages either) Right now I feel like Napoleon in Moscow waiting for a diplomat that is never going to come :-D Anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas ? ( And don't tell me " March on Saint Petersburg") Thanks

Sending multiple draw offers isn't really helpful. If your opponent isn't seeing them, they'll do you no good. If your opponent is, they obviously don't think it's a draw or want to play it out.

You could always ask in chat if they saw the offer but beyond that there isn't a lot of choice, other than play on or resign.

Just like in OTB play.  Your opponent is under no obligation to answer your draw request.  If they keep making moves then they are saying No,

Its also considered bad etiquette to keep sending draw offers.

Ok thanks. I'm just sending several draw offers because I'm not sure if the player got them . And he's not answering messages either. If he got them, isn't it bad etiquette not to decline them?

As already mentioned, ignoring a draw offer obviously implies denying it and is completely fine. Multiple draw offers do not change that. Probably they received them, consider you annoying (because it's bad etiquette) and now ignore you deliberately.

By not accepting the offer, the offer is being declined. So, really you have your answer. I have offered draws and when the other player moves, I accept that has a "no" and just play on. (I don't think I've ever lost a game where I offered a draw that was unaccepted.)

alright. didn't expect such answers . Guess chess etiquette is different from normal life etiquette where I would consider not answering inappropriate behaviour . anyway thanks for clearing me up

No, it's not different when you look at general principles and not specific rules of behavior: because the game requires total focus, the main objective of your behavior should always be not to distract your opponent in any way. Then you are generally fine.

Maybe I should have added that it's a "daily game" . nobody was distracting anybody
